Gantulga is 9 years old
December 2014
Gantulga is 9 years old. He is in 4th Grade of School 85 in Gachuurt. His hobbies are dancing, singing and drawing (it seems soon also riding motorbike). His older brother and younger sister are also living at Lotus. They are ten and six years old respectively.
Their parents are living in Ulaanbaatar, in the Khan-Uul District. They somehow couldn’t cope with looking after the children and struggled with alcohol abuse.

Childen have fun whilst baking. The picture shows Lotus children backing. By means of financial and hardware donation the bakery was fitted within Lotus center. Together with a volunteer from Switzerland the children baked “Zopf” (a kind of Swiss bread). As the result shows – a complete success. We are convinced that the kids will expand their recipe repertoire. This acitvity helps the Lotus cetner to be more self-sufficient. Further the learned skills will help the children in their future life.
